mugs' arrows
by eddie elks
A pub. Somewhere in the middle of England. Two locals return to see off an old friend. Throw a few darts. Drown their sorrows. Try to make sense of it all. Just your average night down the boozer. Or not...
“Just breathe...from the guts...just breathe. Cos nothing’s going to happen...”
Mugs' Arrows is a surreal black comedy that delves in to a world which is on the change. It explores the depths of the human psyche, love, loss, friendship and darts, leading to hilarious, strange and ultimately disturbing results. Just your average night out down the local then... Game On!

“Eddie Elks’ pub-set story of masculinity splintering against a fence-post is one of the smartest, funniest and most quotable plays in basically forever.” Stewart Pringle
